Common Questions

How do I grant screen recording permissions?
When you click "Add Screen", your browser will prompt you to select what you want to share. Choose "Entire Screen", "Window", or "Browser Tab" and click "Share". The permission request is handled automatically by your browser.
Why can't I record system audio?
System audio recording requires browser support and may not be available on all browsers. Chrome and Edge typically support system audio. Make sure to check the "System Audio" toggle before starting recording.
Can I record on mobile devices?
Yes! Screen Recorder Pro works on mobile devices. On mobile, you can record your screen and use your device's camera. The interface is fully responsive and touch-friendly.
What's the difference between Free and Pro plans?
Free plan: 1 hour recording limit per session, HD (720p) quality, up to 10 saved recordings, MP4 and WebM formats, 30 FPS. Pro plan: unlimited recording time, up to 4K (2160p) quality, up to 2,000 saved recordings, all export formats, 60 FPS support, and priority customer support.
How do I download my recordings?
After stopping a recording, it will appear in the sidebar. Click the "Download" button on any recording to save it to your device. Recordings are saved in your selected format (MP4, WebM, etc.).
Can I edit my recordings?
Screen Recorder Pro focuses on recording. For editing, we recommend using video editing software like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or free options like DaVinci Resolve or OpenShot.
Why is my recording file so large?
Video file size depends on quality, duration, and format. Higher quality (4K) and longer recordings create larger files. You can reduce file size by choosing lower quality settings or shorter recording times.
How do I change camera position during recording?
You can drag the camera overlay to any position before starting recording. During recording, the position is locked. Stop recording, adjust position, and start a new recording if needed.

If permissions are denied, check your browser settings:
